0322 - The Start of Something New

Like I said yesterday, today on the first of the month we are starting something new!  Every month a new category will be released and I want that to be an open posting for everyone!  I will post my current top 5 songs in that category but I want you guys to post your favorite songs from that genre/style as well!  I am unsure how long it will go, I hope it will be continuous all month but it may be short lived.  I am guessing most of the conversation will take place on the facebook group, so please join that if you haven't had the chance yet.  Some of the songs will be repeats from stuff posted here already, but this is about sharing and honestly even I have forgotten some of the stuff that has gone up here.

This month's category is chill/relaxing songs.  I view this category as having songs that I can always fall back on if I have had a shitty day at work or just need to mellow out.  Here are my top 5!

5.  I Remember (Stroblite Edit) - Kaskade
This one has been in my library forever, and always seems to be a fall back song just in case I am quickly listening for something relaxing to listen to.  A classic that will always bring me back down to reality.

4. Hummingbird - Tut Tut Child
Without a doubt one of the chillest dubstep songs that I have ever heard.  Flawless vocals mixed with all of the best chill elements of dubstep.  This one always seems to describe me when I am stressed, heart beating fast as a hummingbird.

3. Wait (Kygo Remix) - M83
This one just has such a unique feel to it, as all kygo stuff tends to do, but this one has always grabbed my attention.  Muffled vocals mixed over insane tonality and chilled out electro elements make this one of my top remixes of all time.

2. Almost Home (Sound Remedy Remix) - Moby
This song had me from the minute I heard it, and behind number 1 this is one of my few go to songs for relaxation.  I really wish I had the knowledge and talent to be able to make songs like this one, because these ones touch your heart on a whole different level.

1.  Words (Glastrophobie Remix) - Anna Graceman
I don't know what it is about this song but it always seems to bring me to a really great place mentally.  The smoothness of Anna Graceman's voice just seems to make me melt into whatever chair I am sitting in and loose track of whatever stressed me out so much the day before.  My favorite chill track right now!
