0516 - Triple Threat Track Tournament

The Girl by Hellberg is one of my favorite tracks right now (if you haven't heard it yet you can by clicking here).  Like all good songs some amazing remixes followed, and I want to share three of those with you today.
Color Source brings us a really nice future bass remix to the table, keeping the beautiful vocals intact, this one has a really nice mellow flow.  Great big bass while still keeping in line with the original tonality of the track.  Second up is the more fast paced Happy Hardcore remix from Stonebank.  Going in a totally different direction, this one speeds up the vocals a bit and adds a lot new intensity to the track.  It doesn't feel forced which is really nice in this genre, and it hits really hard and fast.  Overall, a really solid remix where in a genre where most remixes are overwhelming.  Finally, the final remix from Mr. Fijiwiji takes the vocals slower and moves to a more minimalistic approach.  Using the vocals to add glitched out sequences, this one has a really unique feel to it.  Overally, they are in order of which one I like the most!  Which one is your favorite?

0443 - I Like It (BUT ITS GOT SATAN IN IT)

So everyone seems to have their own opinion about the new Skrillex and Diplo track featuring Justin Bieber.  Personally, I'm not a fan of the original but absolutely love the Mr. Fijiwiji remix.  It is much more on the mellow side, but Justin's voice actually complements the remix very well.  Mr. Fijiwiji always brings such an amazing energy and power to his remixes, and I fell in love with this one quick.

0403 - Truly Divine

First up is one of the few requests to post songs to the blog that I have ever gotten.  One of my close friends asked me what I thought of the new Avicii song, and I hadn't heard it yet so I figured I would review it here and then let you listen for yourself.  The first thing I noticed about Divine Sorrow was the feature of Wyclef Jean, an artist I never pictured having a collaboration with Avicii.  His voice fits the music very well though, low tones, and bit distorted.  Overall not a bad song, the lyrics are a bit cheesy though.  I hope this is one of many tracks that are good off of Avicii's upcoming album (this year if I'm not mistaken).  Oh well, give it a listen and tell me what you think of Avicii and Wyclef John combination!

Also up today is a truly awe inspiring track from Mr. Fijiwiji.  This one had me amazed the first time I heard it.  It never hits hard, it never blows your mind, it's just a catchy relaxing but driving track.  The vocals really add something special to the flow, Danyka Nadeau's voice is beautiful and I will for sure have to look up more music that she has done!  Give it a listen and just relax ^_^.

ALSO: I am likely making a return to Facebook.  It may be a new profile, or a completely revamped current one, I haven't decided!

0206 - Trapped by Trap

Everyone who reads this blog knows that Trap is not my favorite genre, but like I always say, give it a chance because occasionally you will be surprised.  Usually when I am scrolling the many music blogs that I follow and check daily, trap means continue scrolling to the next item.  Every once in a while I will give trap a chance, and in scenarios like this one, I am very glad I did.  This Slander Festival Trap Edit of Ummet Ozcan's Raise Your Hands is pretty damn good.  I mean its very obvious why its called the Festival edit as it comes off very heavy in that regard, but as far as holding judgement, I really enjoyed it!  Check it out and let me know if you do!

Next up is something new and different from Monstercat.  Usually they are known for their incredible elctro, unique house, but they seem to only release chill tracks every blue moon.  Well their newest one from Mr FijiWiji is one of my favorite tracks of the year so far.  Seriously.  It has smooth vocals that don't get overpowered by the smooth rhythms and nearly perfect progression.  Give it a listen and let me know if you love it as much as I do!
