0686 - Chill On Some Wings

Let's slow things down a little bit with a track from Sound Patrol and VDG called Paper Wings, and while this one is much more on the slow and sweet side, that doesn't take away from the atmosphere of the track.  You can really feel a lot while listening to this song, or at least I did, just from the beautiful vocals and the great tonality.  Enjoy!
Also up today is a new track from BUNT, the artist who brought Folk House to our ears, and has put out 2 great mixes (I'lll post the other one soon I promise) highlighting what the genre can do.  This one is called Coming Home and features Sons of the East.  This song is wonderful in melding the two genres, with a great folk section moving into a beautiful house drop with the continual tonality that helps me fall in love with songs like this so easily.

0657 - Let's Synchronize

Two Killer tracks for you today.  The first is a future bass track from Haywyre called I Am You.  The glitched out vocals really give it a strange feel but the smooth nature of the bass and the little bit of glitch added really makes it a unique and pretty track.  Plus the progression really made me happy.  Enjoy!
Second is more of a chill track from Hellberg called Synchronize.  The build is chill as hell and the vocals are seriously beautiful, and the drop is perfect.  Not too much and still has a chill air to it, while coming in heavier than the rest of the track.  I hope you enjoy this one, because it has been playing almost daily for me!

0645 - Forgiveness Always Comes Around Again

First track up today is from Kasbo called Again, a smooth as butter Future Bass track.  This one is relaxing, beautifully tonal, and just all around an amazingly well put together track.  Enjoy it and kick your feet up!
Second up is another relaxing and super melodic track from Made In Heights called Forgiveness.  This one is so minimalistic, with almost no bass and just amazingly melodic sequences coming from every instrument.  The minimal angle works really well though as it just took me to a very retro feeling paradise.

0628 - Killer With No Control

On this banger Wednesday we start out with a Future House track from Jordi Rivera called Cereal Killer.  Full of futuristic sounds and a very bouncy bass, this one had me dancing in my chair the first time that I heard it.  Give it a listen and let me know if you like it!
Usually all Melbourne Bounce sounds the same, and even though this one from Dirty Palm sounds fairly generic I really enjoyed it.  Lose Control features a good mix of vocals from male and female vocalists, and it just gives off a really great party feel.  Give it a try!

0598 - Just Smile

Funky Friday in full swing with a feel good FutureBass track from SMLE.  It has great gritty sounding vocals, that aren't perfected to the point of overdone, but really give to the song by sounds a little less clean.  The bass is bumpin, the melodies are fabulous, and the song as a whole really comes together nicely.  Feel good track for your feel good weekend!  See you all on Monday!

0576 - Anytime, Lets Make it Today

Today on this holy of funk days, we have a futurebass track from Prince Fox called Wait Until Tomorrow.  It has a great glitchy vibe, along with some really great glitchy vibe.  All together a really well put together track, pretty bass heavy and just well put together!
I also have a really chilled out Glitch Hop track from Sunsquabi called Anytime.  This one is a bit slower but still has a really killer vibe from the great tonality present, mixed with a really great bassline.  Overall a really great Glitch track!  For sure worth looking into!

0529 - Restart the Week on Monday

First up on this most holy of Funkdays we have a track from Subtact, someone who has been coming in hot with great tracks.  Everyone I have heard has been amazing, and Restart is no different.  Taking a cool Funk/Future Bass combo, this one has everything you could want.  Only a handful of vocal samples, great progression in every sense, and groove that honestly caught me off guard.  Give it a listen and have a wonderful weekend!

0523 - Stay with the Shadows

First up on day four of this Free Week is a track from Diamond Eyes and Christina Grimmie.  I remember watching videos of Christina on Youtube years ago right when she was starting to get popular, so its really cool to see her on official tracks!  This is a really chilled out remix from WRLD and does Future Bass a lot of good by keeping things beautifully tonal and progressive.  Give it a listen!
Second up is a track from Johnny Third feat. See called Shadows.  I had to listen to this one 5 or 6 times before I was for sure putting it up here.  It just seemed to get better every time I listened to it, and I really want to share it with you all.  Killer vocals mixed with great chord progression really bring this one to a special place in my heart!

0516 - Triple Threat Track Tournament

The Girl by Hellberg is one of my favorite tracks right now (if you haven't heard it yet you can by clicking here).  Like all good songs some amazing remixes followed, and I want to share three of those with you today.
Color Source brings us a really nice future bass remix to the table, keeping the beautiful vocals intact, this one has a really nice mellow flow.  Great big bass while still keeping in line with the original tonality of the track.  Second up is the more fast paced Happy Hardcore remix from Stonebank.  Going in a totally different direction, this one speeds up the vocals a bit and adds a lot new intensity to the track.  It doesn't feel forced which is really nice in this genre, and it hits really hard and fast.  Overall, a really solid remix where in a genre where most remixes are overwhelming.  Finally, the final remix from Mr. Fijiwiji takes the vocals slower and moves to a more minimalistic approach.  Using the vocals to add glitched out sequences, this one has a really unique feel to it.  Overally, they are in order of which one I like the most!  Which one is your favorite?

0505 - You and I Are Right Where We're Supposed To Be

Skrux has gotten me into loving Future Bass.  I have been trying to find the right day to put up this song and today is the day.  It is really chill with great melodic flow and glitched out vocals that compliment the jumpy style really well.  It also has really beautiful piano and drops that just feel so natural and not forced in any way.  Give it a listen!

0495 - Summer Adventures

First up is a sick beatpad mashup coming from M4SONIC.  I have so much for respect for DJs that use beatpads, not only is it visually appealing but I see it as most amazing form of performing electronic music.  Not only is there so much memorization and coordination, but so much coordination (I also fucking love the Aziz Ansari sample in this one).  Give it a listen, appreciate the art, and let this mashup into your ear holes.

Also up on today's playlist is a Future Bass track from Hyper Potions and Subtact titled Adventures.  It has a really heavy 8-bit feel to it, that transforms into a really beautiful melody.  Its nothing to be danced to and I can't really see it being performed, but christ it sounds good leaning back in a chair with headphones on.  Enjoy these and I will see you back here tomorrow!

0453 - Statistics and Victory!

Ladies and Gentlemen.  We have done something great together.  After about a year and a half, 450+ posts, we have hit 10,000 page views!  This has been one of the best experiences of my entire life, and I enjoy doing this blog every single day.  I couldn't have done it without all of you, your response, participation, and love has only increased my love for music.  For this, I need to thank you.  Thats why I have already begun work on a tropical house mix of some of my favorite tracks, which will hopefully be ready for you all to listen and download for free very soon.
But today, We have music!
Savoy and Sound Remedy have both been names I love to see new tracks from, let alone one together.  Also, Future Bass is one of my new favorite subgenres.  So all of these things combined, make for a really exciting Me when I saw them all combined in one package.  Leaving You is an amazing track, filled with amazing tonality and nice bass, phenominal drop outs, and even better builds with the vocals.  Give it a listen and keep an eye out for the mix coming soon!

0423 - First Things First, Be the Realest

Just one more day til friday!  HOLD ON!  Also, electro swing week is coming this month.  Not sure when, but it will be a thing I promise you!  Today's track is a remix from Wax Matif and Gladiator, one that is future house and has a great flow.  Its got a great chill sound, but could also be easily used as a club track to bring the intensity down a little bit.  Hard hitting percussion and a driving heavy bassline give this one a very dancy vibe, one that I will be sure to play!

0385 - Breaking Free

Just a heads up to everyone who follows this blog, or anyone that gets it from the facebook group.  I have taken a break from Facebook for a while, nothing happened I just felt it was not a positive influence on my life where it is right now and need a break from it.  I have left it in the trusting hands of two of my best friends who are also musically controlled in life.  It should still get posted daily through the group from one of them, and until I return, that is how it will go from now on.  The music will continue, just feel free to bookmark or remember the homepage of this blog for the daily music you love.

I personally love that feeling of when someone remixes a song into an entirely different genre without taking away from the energy and power of the original, and that is just Empia did with their remix of Five Hours by Deorro.  Bringing it into the Future Bass genre while still maintaining what made the original so great.  Still keeps the tonality and vocals from the vocal edit, as well as bringing new elements to give it a completely new spin!  Give it a listen and let me know what you think!
