0268 - Shake off the sickness

Sorry this one is late, I am sick as a dog and its about as fun as a giraffe having neck surgery.  So live from my bed, here is a great track for you.  Rezonate has come out basically saying that he hates where house music is going, its the same thing over and over again.  Ever since then he has gone his own way and started experimenting with different styles and genres.  His return to House is glorious, it seems that he has learned a lot from his exploratory journey.  Shake It Off has great vocals, great tonality throughout the entire song, and drops that aren't necessarily huge but then again they really don't have to be.

0216 - Chill in the Rain

Today is an ugly day, well at least in Columbus.  So I figured some chill and free music may help turn the rain from an inconvenience to something beautiful and enjoyable.

First up is an incredible remix of Ellie Goulding's Tessellate from Rezonate, and ever since he changed his style everything he puts out is mind blowing.  This remix may not sound like much, but the simplicity behind it really makes the song in my opinion.  Using Ellie's incredible vocals mixed with the perfect combination of bass and chill, this is close to Kygo in my opinion. CLOSE.

This next one is seriously one of the most beautiful compositions that I have heard in a very long time.  Nightcall and Dreamhour have come together to give the people Dead V, and it is beautiful.  Created with great vocals, a driving slow line, and tonality that keeps your head bobbing even though it is slow and chill.  Please don't miss this one, and don't miss the download either because this will be your new rainy day song.

158 - The Day before the Day after Today

Columbus Got Pooped On.  The schools are still closed even just dealing with the aftermath of yesterday.  Sadly I still have to go into the office, even though that means it will be a very relaxed day doing data entry and making phone calls.  Today I give you....OPTIONS!

Monstercat just released a new one from Razihel, and its awesome.  Intense, up there, with awesome beats and big bass.  But also a very nice instrumental interlude of sorts, a great house song to help you get through the day!

Rezonate just released his new EP.  Taking an entirely new direction, I read an interview with him and he basically said he stopped making house/electronic house because it was too boring.  He now is in the business of something that we don't get to see very often: he has switched to melodic, slow, beautiful, and chill.  Its incredible to say the least.  Check it out and if you like this one, then grab the EP.
