0648 - It's Quite a SCNDL

You guys know I love SCNDL, almost everything they have put out has amazed me and the new track Meant To Be is a wonderful Future and Bounce Hybrid track.  The melodic tonality of and big bass really come together to make a phenomenal song!  Enjoy!
We also invite Caravan Palace to join us on this day full of Bangers.  Their track Lone Digger is a really groovy and just phenomenal, plus the music video is strange as fuck.  The groove from this song reaches the god damn starts and just makes me want to dance in my office while I type this post. Tell me what you think!

0634 - Count the Cops

First up today is a new track from John Dahlback called Count to Ten.  This one is a banger the vocals are pretty average but the vibe that they give off is unmatched.  The beats from Dahlback are always good, and although this one feels much more like a pop song, it still has the banger spirit that his tracks always seem to have.

Second up is a big one from Katdrop called Call the Cops, deep, easy to dance to, and with an epic feel during the tonal sequences that kinda sounds like it is from Space Jam.  The bounce mixed with the tonality really puts this one in high regard in my book.  Enjoy!

0611 - Old Skool Skies

So I know in past posts I have raved about Armin Van Buuren but honestly I honestly haven't been very impressed with his most recent stuff, but there is one song off his album that I really enjoy, Old Skool.  It feels like a party track as opposed to the generic trance and house that he has put out lately.  Good tonality mixed in with a big bass that hits hard and strikes often.  Overall a really great banger track to spend your Wednesday!
Second up today on this Banger Wednesday is from Juicy M called Skies.  It is a great track that has the heavy bass that makes driving dance songs, as well as really catchy melody and vocals that actually fit the track really well.  Not overwhelming itself, this track really caught me off guard as I didn't like it at first but then after actually listening, my ears just gasemed all over my headphones.

0585 - 3 Days In, Get Through The Rest!

First song today is from Snails called Frogbass, now let me warn you that this one is a bit strange but I really pick up what it's putting down.  It has a strange tonal bass track that caught me totally off guard.  Like I said, its strange, but it has a bizarre flow and arrangement to it that really caught my attention.  I hope you rock out to it as much as I did!
Also up today is a banger remix of The Night from 3LAU and Nom De Strip from ak9.  This one had everything I like; classic vocals, a great progression, a dash of funk vibe, and a big drop that left me with a smile on my face and groovin in my car.  Give this one a listen because it is one of the best electro remixes I have heard in some time.  Enjoy!

0534 - The Raven Has Come

So Dada Life was one of the first shows that I went to.  They blew my mind and threw an amazing show so I am always excited to see new stuff by them.  Their track One Last on Earth was pretty good, but the remix by Young Bombs really hit a good point with me.  Keeping the vocals in tact and throwing in a wonderfully tonal and catchy drop, Young Bombs really made a quality remix.  Give it a listen!
Also up today is a track from John Dahlback called Ravens.  This one is big in my book, a banger that I would love to mix and can't wait to hear in sets of others.  The bass, the tonality, the vocal samples, this one really fires on all cylinders. Plus the music video is fucking crazy.

0467 - Hump the Day

It is strange, because in my eyes the idea of what a banger is has changed.  Since I have been to so many shows lately and seen so many different styles just make people go crazy and dance.  Live, Streaming, word of mouth just made bangers pretty widespread.  This song, Seve by Tex Cadey, I can see absolutely killing in a more chill set.  Its got great foreign vocals, a very tropical and fast moving melody.

0432 - Keep the Busters Low

Banger Wednesday is here agian, and its time for one of the first influences of my own musical tastes to step up to the plate.  Tiesto is back with another track, collaborating with both KSHMR and Vassy to bring a really great piece to the table.  Secrets is a great track that keeps the tonality and catchiness that made Tiesto big with the signature style of KSHMR.  A big track that clubs will love as well as just dancing by yourself alone or interrupting the office party.

Also, I was going to save this for Mashup Monday but next week will be Electro-Swing Week so this needs to be shared.  What does the Ghostbusters theme need to make it better?  Did you say Lil Jon?  If so you are damn correct.  This is the most unlikely mashup I have heard in years but wow does it flow and work so much better than I ever imagined.

Give both these tracks a listen and let me know what you think!

0427 - Another Song Named After A Natural Disaster

Banger Wednesday hits hard today with a huge track from Vaqu called Hurricane.  With huge drops and very nice rebuilds, this one caught me by surprise.  I expected it to be just another piece of big room trash, but it actually surprised me and I enjoyed it.  It took me a few listens to feel this way about it but now that I've given it time to sit and marinate, I like it a lot.  Give it a listen and I hope you will too!

0422 - One Time Friendzone Exception

The first time I heard Ghosts from Mako I was hooked, the song has effectively been stuck in my head for longer than I'd like to admit.  When I saw a new remix of it, I was extremely excited and the song lived up to my expectations.  The song keeps the original power that comes from the vocals and Friendzone throws in nice builds and a really nice drop to give the song a club vibe.

0387 - Death by Dubstep

Today's track comes to us from Savant, maker of one of my favorite tracks, Holy Ghost.  This one is called Kali 47 and is accompanied by a truly badass music video.  Just like Holy Ghost, this one is all over the walls.  Starting off with horns and great tonality, it quickly moves into a fabulous dubstep drop that is tonal and delicious.  The music video fits the song flawlessly, starting in a cowboy saloon and displaying some really sweet battle sequences during the drops.  Give it a listen, enjoy this banger, and see what you think of this amazing track!

0357 - Get Down With My Sickness

Sorry everyone, this short post comes between Nyquill naps.  Sick with something I hope is only a cold.
One Banger for you today, a remix of a song I have really liked for some time, Virtual Riot's We're Not Alone.  Syntact does a really good job of maintaining and bringing in really beautiful melodic parts while building back into the heavy hitting sections with a few glitchy sections as well.  Pick it up for free!

0352 - Do You Feel The Need?

Today's post features a banger off of Tut Tut Child's new EP called Ask Your Friends First.  The track is called Hot Pursuit and I really enjoyed listening to it.  Its got great flow and little jumps of both dubstep elements and melodic house elements.  Tut Tut Child is one of the Monstercat artists that I fell in love with from the first song I heard off one of the compilation albums.  This one was a little more than I expected, but hey, you won't catch me complaining about that!

0337 - Banger With Chords

Today's banger comes from two amazing artists, and Deadmau5 is easily one of my first heavy influences into electro music.  Deadmau5 released a song not too long called Some Chords, and Dillon Francis got his hands on it and remixed it.  It still carries that unique Deadmau5 sound and themes but Francis gave it a hell of a twist turning it into a banger of epic proportions.  Give it a listen and rock out to get through your Hump Day.

0327 - Ferocious Fulton

So, I had a realization the other day.  I am too much a sucker for songs with dedicated vocals.  Not vocal samples, but full vocal tracks.  A fair portion have great backs but absolutely horrible vocal work in terms of lyrics.  I am trying to take a step back, that doesn't mean there will be no vocal work, maybe just a little less per week.  I would like to start this new vision with a sweet track from Pierce Fulton.  Its really driving and has a great high energy feel to it.  A great banger to start off the new realization in musical tastes for this blog.  Give it a listen and enjoy!

0317 - Anchor Yourself To The Beats

Banger Wednesday is here and ready to get you moving on this Hump Day!

First up today is a really beautiful anthem, with an extremely positive message about how people can open your eyes.  Andrew Rayel just released a slew of tracks and in my opinion this is the best one.  One In A Million features killer vocals from Jonathan Mendelsohn mixed in pretty flawlessly with smooth progression and a very nice melodic drop.  This is one of my most played songs right now!

Second up is a huge new song from powerhouse Tritonal.  This one is called Anchor, and it honestly surprised me a little bit.  The way the vocals and tonality mix in the beginning is very generic and I was worried the entire song would be that way.  In a way it is, but Tritonal gives it their own flair and takes this one to the next level.  Great melody, great vocals, excellent musical diversity make this a track that I expect to see in club and festival sets soon!

0316 - Madeon's Glorious Return

Madeon is Back.  You likely know him from his mind blowing pop culture live mashup on a beatpad.  That video blew my mind open into the insane and crazy talented world or mixing songs live right there on the spot, and I fell in love with beatpad mixing right there.  His new song is out of the blue, since it has been nearly 6 months since we have heard anything from him.  This one is heavier than his usual, but still has that unique flair that he gives to tracks.  There is also a rumor this may be off an upcoming album!  Give it a listen and enjoy!

0312 - Follow Me, The Bangers Are This Way

Two big bangers for you today!

The first is the new one from Cash Cash called Surrender.  Known for their vocals, Cash Cash's track has stellar vocal work mixed in really well with a great progression.  A great drop combined with kinda glitchy sounds all adds up into a really phenomenal track!

Second up and my favorite track of the day, is a sweet song from Disco Fries and Gazzo.  Great job isolating the vocals to make them stick out, mixed with a really just powerful feel that courses through your veins and makes you feel strong.  The tonality of this song is impressive and honestly surprised me, but thats just my opinion.  Give it a listen and decide for yourself!

0307 - Dance Forever, Just Don't Stop

First up on this Banger Wednesday is a sick track from Cazzette.  Beam me up is very smooth, has great vocals, and a sweet vocal drop into the banger drop.  I think what makes this track for me though is the music video, its a documentary style video about how everyone just started spontaneously dancing one day.  Its worth checking out for sure!  Give it a listen!

Second up is a chill banger, one with a really rocking style.  Manila Killa got his hands on Dawn Golden's track All That I Want and turned it into an entirely new fantastic piece.  He has great great chill vocals mixed with a very chill constantly moving rhythm, and a chorus that would work perfectly in a chill set.  Listen to it and decide if you like it for yourself!

0306 - Circle Up Boys and Girls

Sorry guys the post today is rushed and late, the day is busy!
I have a really great song for you today, it has been literally stuck in my head for a few days and I can't get it out.  Circle Track by Arston has great vocals, a killer build up, and a drop that I think would bring Festivals and Sets to a whole nother level.  Its a great track and I can't get it out of my head.  Give it a listen and find out for yourself!

0304 - Free Finale

Friday is finally here, and I hope you all have a great weekend planned!
Sadly that means it is the last day of free week, and today I have a great song and a bit of a controversial one.

The first track up for today is from two artists of the Pretty lights Label, Michal Menert and Elliot Lipp called Victory.  This track is hot, smooth, a bit on the funky side, and has the level of excellence that one has come to expect from Pretty Lights label.  Its very relaxing but can for sure have the opposite effect as long as you are in the right frame of mind.  Give it a listen and pick up the free download courtesy of This Song Is Sick!

The second song I have for you is one that has sparked some controversy.  Many regard it as underwhelming and lazy, while people say its hot and the anthem of the summer.  It's Hardwell and W&W's new collaboration, The Dance Floor is Yours.  Personally I don't know yet, its not my favorite track but I wouldn't say its horrible.  It has good tonality but it comes off kinda generic.  It honestly sounds like nothing new, which isn't always a bad thing.  No matter our opinion I am sure it will kill at festivals and in sets, so give it a listen and pick up the download if you like it!
