0667 - Don't Wait And Be Alone

First up today is a great track from Gazzo featuring SugarWhiskey called What You Waiting For.  This one just has a really fun and energizing feel to it.  It's not a amazingly unique song but I love the tones and the energy it gives off is quick moving and extremely dancey!  Enjoy!

Also for you on this Hump Day is a new track from Pegboard Nerds, who I think I can finally listen to without hating everything again, and Grabbitz called All Alone.  This Drumpstep track is a bit strange but I really enjoyed it.  With a great melody and nice big and glitchy bass, this one got me really hyped.  The melodic and calm transition sequences really make the big drops feel so much more epic!

0623 - How Can You Not Love a Song Called Porkchop Express?

I have liked just about everything that Tristam has put out, all of his Drumstep, Glitch Hop, and Dubstep songs have been amazing and his song Flight with Braken was easily my favorite song for some time.  Therefore I was really excited to see a new song of his pop up on my Youtube subscriptions.  The Vine starts off really beautiful and melodic, and moves into a style that I can't describe but can only be described as classic Tristam.  The drop is dancey, very melodic, and I just really enjoyed it!  Give it a listen!

Second up is an 8-bit track from Stephen Walking.  Porkchop Express really surprised me, as most 8-bit tracks I've heard feel the same (with the exclusion of Adhesive Wombat), so hearing this one be so amazing was a surprise.  It's beautifully done, very melodic, and still keeps a very catchy tonality through the whole song!  Hope you enjoy it!

0556 - Day Off From Everything But Music!

Hope you are all enjoying your day off from work/school or whatever it is that usually occupies your time during the week!  Giving you some tracks to help you have a great labor day!  First up is from Just a Gent called Waveless.  This one is chill but never really gets rid of the energy of a normal more intense track.  It has beautiful instrumentation and is just beautifully done!  This one really took me to a good place and I think that the instrumentation had something to do with it!  Enjoy!
Second up is a really cool drumstep track from Tha Trickaz called LEgEnd (the Es in both slots are just the horizontal lines).  Its cool unique, has a bit of a glitchy feel to it.  Really an overall surprising song, I honestly had to listen to it a few times before I truly enjoyed it but now I love it!  I hope that you do too!

0496 - You Just Have to Have Faith

First up is a drumstep remix from Spag Heddy of Helen Corry's track Time.  I have really gotten a big taste for drumstep in the last few months, and this one I really enjoyed.  The melody playing in the background is really catchy and the short cut vocals are really nice and sharp.  The drop is nice although a bit generic, still all combine to make a really enjoyable song though!
Also coming straight to your ears today is a track from SirensCeol called Faith In You.  A truly exemplary track, there isn't much about this one I don't like.  Great progression, memorable tonality, vocal samples mixed in just a little bit, great chilled out transitions, and a drop that took me by surprise.  Give it a listen and I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!

0464 - Weekend Underload

Quick post today, amid the piles of paperwork and me coughing up my lungs every time I breathe I have just enough time before going to the doctor go get you all the music you need!  This track comes from Teminity and PsoGnar and is called Senses Overload.  Its a really slick Drumstep track that has a really intense tonal feel to it.  Its got huge drops with nice bass but keep things melodic at the same time, this is the kind of Drumstep I love.  It does have its big huge heavy moments, but overall it is extremely well done!

0462 - Don't Try This at Home

Banger Wednesday is back and I have two tracks for you today.  The first is a festival ready and killer bounce track from Matt Watkins called Riot (admittedly a little in bad taste with the current events).  Its got a great bouncy chorus with a great anthem like build to get the crowd pumped up.  Tonally its not the best but it would for sure get most people moving!
Second up is a sweet drumstep from Pegboard Nerds, who I still don't know how I feel about.  Its an overally good and solid song, with great builds and a really nice vocal drop.  I just can't get over that show I saw them at and how just abysmal they were live.  Try not to think about that though, because this song does have a really epic set of horns.  I hope you enjoy it!

0450 - Dual of the Madness

A very heavy track to get you started on your week.  I know I have said my fair share about Pegboard Nerds and how much their live performance upset me, but I am starting to appreciate the music more.  They recently had a track, Bring the Madness that did extremely well and I will share it as well because I couldn't tell which I liked more, the original or the Noisestorm Remix.  The original is done more in a drumstep style while the remix is considered breakbeat, at least in my mind.  The original hits really hard and heavy, while the remix is a bit more tonal.  I do love the combination of rap and electronic that have been surfacing lately, so listen to both and let me know which one you like more!  You can also get the original and all 3 remixes for free here (Free Download).

0375 - Be My Friend for the Holidays

Tristam returns to us today with a brand new drumstep track, My Friend.  This one has a chilled out feel for most drumstep, and has great levels of tonality throughout the entire track.  The vocals aren't overwhelming and are there just enough to get overshadowed by the rest of the track, not being the dominant part of the song.  Overall, a fabulously chilled out tonal drumstep track that I really enjoy, and I hope you do too!

0221 - Mind Collaboration

Today for you I have a really incredible collaboration between Tristam and Braken, both very well known for the musical genius that they produce coming together to make a truly great drum and bass/drumstep track.  Frame of Mind is a great song featuring stellar vocals, combined with the perfect level of fast paced movement and tonality.  Check it out for yourself!

0201 - Touch the World

Two fantastic songs for you today, that are both different in their own unique ways.

The first comes from MitiS and is one of the most melodic and interesting songs that I have heard in a long time.  It is unique because it doesn't have a huge bass, but it also doesn't need it at all.  The tonality and melodies are enough to carry this song pretty high into my charts, and is one I am sure I will be stuck on for some time!

Second up is a very cool and unique turbo funk track from Nhato called Hello World.  It feels very quick, much faster then the bpm would boast, and has funky and in your face rhythms while taking breaks that have a very futuristic and fitting feel to them.  Check it out and let me know which one you like better!

087 - Drop the Juice

Since Halloween isn't quite here yet, I will post my favorite tracks from Halloween Past.  And likely at least 1 or 2 on the day, as stuff is released throughout the holiday.  This track that I am going to share with you today is unique to say the least, a bit of the Cuban Pete Rediculousness.  For those who dont know, my friends and I always said there was one song that should get an electro remake, and that was the song Cuban Pete from the Mask.  Quite literally took us years to find ONE.  Who would have ever suspected samples from Beetlejuice to make such a great halloween drumstep song, certainly not me 2 years ago when it was released.  Beetlejuice was just one of those movies that made your childhood awesome or scared the living shit out of you, and Figure gives it a nice drumstep twist in this incredible track.  Plus with newly announced plans for a sequel, this track needs to come to the ears of those who haven't heard it yet!  Also, you can catch the free download as well by clicking the soundcloud boxWatch the movie again, listen to the track, and come back for a Special Halloween Edition of Banger Wednesday!

083 - Sickly Banger

Today I bring you a brand new song off the monstercat label.  This one is a drumstep song which quickly is becoming one of my favorites on the label.  Drumstep is a newer genre and continually surprises me.  This track is really incredible and I can't wait to hear more from Braken.  Sorry for the seeming short post I am actually feeling pretty sick.  But music is the universal medication, I guess I just didnt get my daily dose yesterday.  Enjoy the track and stay healthy!
