0663 - Get Some Rap, Then Get It Live

Good rap mixed with great backtrack can be really incredible, and I hate modern rap so finding a rap song that really resonates with me is fairly hard to do if it was made after 2010.  This one is superb, Mighty and High by Can't Stop Won't Stop.  The flow is absolutely incredible, and the lyrics fit the track really well.  Overall a very well put together and classic feeling rap track, give it a listen and I hope you like it!
I love seeing electronic music performed live, so seeing someone like Madeon and Chromeo live was a mind blowing and life changing way to look at music.  So seeing Haywyre perform his track Endlessly live really switched my perspective on the artist.  Give it a listen, and let his beautiful piano work take you away to another plane.

0657 - Let's Synchronize

Two Killer tracks for you today.  The first is a future bass track from Haywyre called I Am You.  The glitched out vocals really give it a strange feel but the smooth nature of the bass and the little bit of glitch added really makes it a unique and pretty track.  Plus the progression really made me happy.  Enjoy!
Second is more of a chill track from Hellberg called Synchronize.  The build is chill as hell and the vocals are seriously beautiful, and the drop is perfect.  Not too much and still has a chill air to it, while coming in heavier than the rest of the track.  I hope you enjoy this one, because it has been playing almost daily for me!

0281 - On a Scale from One to America.....

How free are you today?  Desire more?  COOL.  Today is free music dump day.  I have 2 free songs that I think you will really enjoy!

The first is from Case & Point, one of the extremely talented artists on the Monstercat Label.  This one is called Prism and has really great movement to it.  Moving from simple tonal sounds to a big drop without flaw, this track has a great amount of energy to it.  Check it out and if you like it, pick up the download for free!

The second is from Haywyre, and let me tell you this new track is something a whole lot different.  Mixing in strange and distorted vocals over a mix of dubstepy segments, very electronic segments, and strangely house bits, he somehow brings this track together.  It took me a couple listens to appreciate it, but I really enjoy it.  Let me know if you like it or if it seems overwhelming to you.  If you enjoy it, the download is offered as a "choose what to pay" system, benefiting the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.

0255 - Glitch Hippidy-Hop

For this Funk Monday I have a great Glitch-Hop song for you.  The Haywyre Remix of 7 Minutes Dead's track Peacock is one that out does the original by a long shot in my book.  This one has everything from chill moments, to chill funky moments, to funk so loud I lose track of time.  The amount of variety in this is incredible and really opens the door for what the genre can do instead of going the sad way that house did.  Give it a listen!

024/025 Double Funky Friday.....with Bacon

The final day of catch up week brings you a double dose of funky friday.
024- The newest Glitch Hop from Monstercat, by Haywyre.  This song is chill and incredible, just something that gets your head and is great to listen to.  This genre is one that is quickly becoming one of my favorites, enjoy!

024 - Haywyre - Synergy

025- The second track of the day is from the NuDisco genre, another one that has been ruling my playlists lately.  This song makes you want to move, even if it is just your head from the chair that you are sitting in.  Brand new artist, brand new channel that I have subscribed to, and is for sure worth a look!

025 - Sovate & Thomas Tonfeld - Let There Be Rythem
