0693 - How Ambient Do You Like It?`

Today we are going to cover some very beautiful and simplistic tracks that I basically use as the background noise of my everyday life.  Let's start with the Eleve remix of Toby Hedges' track Miria.  This one is so beautiful and well produced, that it actually put me to sleep with its peacefullness the other night!  Second up today is the Blood Groove and Kikis remix of Stendahl's song Synthetic Love and this one had me feeling so much real love.  The piano is so beautifully interwoven into the tonality of this progressive masterpiece.  Enjoy guys and I will see you back here again soon!

0692 - Never be Alone

Cosmic gate have been on my radar for quite some time, so seeing an Andrew Rayel remix of Alone got me really excited!  This song has such beautiful vocals from Kristina Antuna, mixed in with a really killer tonal drop.  I couldn't resist holding onto this one during the hiatus and am so excited to share it with you now!

0692 - Artist Feature: RUNAGROUND

I have heard some wonderful music lately from an artist who goes by the name Runaground.  Most of the music I have found has been absolutely wonderful, and one of my favorites by far is the track Chase You Down.  This one is so chill and driving, combined together in a beautiful fashion.  The guitar mixes perfectly with the moving bass, and the vocal samples really take this one to a whole new level in my book.
He also did a really great track with Dmitry KO that has a really deep house vibe to it called Rest of Me.  This one has a really soulful feel to it mixed with a house sequence, and it really is just the perfect mix of each in order to get the groove going and keep you moving.

0691 - What Happens Next?

Meraki by Cormak is a roller coaster of a song, that took me though so many different expectations in such a short amount of time.  The beginning of the track is beautiful and tonal, and then it gets beautifully melodic as it starts to build.  The build feels like it may drop into something big and unexpected, but it moves to a tonal guitar funk drop.  I sure as hell didn't see it coming, but I love the feeling of "What Will Happen Next" that this one inspires!
Another track that gave me this feeling was a remix of Arcade from Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and W&W by Magic Wand.  Hearing the start of this one and then the movement into the build, I sure as hell did not expect the funky and groove-worthy drop that followed.  It caught me off guard, and I loved every second of it!

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs. W&W - Arcade (Magic Wand Remix)

0690 - Don't Lose the Beauty

Pierce Fulton continue to make stellar with his track Losing You.  With great use of horns and other instruments, this one feels like it was recorded live and has that jazzy-house vibe that I have really come to love.  I feel the vocals are a bit much, but overall they do add something special to the track.  Enjoy this one!
Second up on this Monday is a track that I feel the title really captures the nature of the song.  Everything is Beautiful by Disfunktion and Husman features beautiful vocals, great and catchy tonality through the entire track, and the drop is heavy enough to be danced to while still feeling relaxed and beautiful.  This one is just really well done, and I enjoyed the simplicity and wonder that it inspired.

0689 - Gareth Emery Album Feature

I know Friday is usually for Funk, but I wanted to share some really great tracks from a new album that you all should check out if you haven't already (there will be a bonus funk post this weekend).  Gareth Emery has had me hooked since Sanctuary and Concrete Angel years ago, so seeing a new album had me excited, and let me tell you that it does not disappoint in the slightest.  I'll highlight some of my favorites off the album here.
The first track that caught my attention was Lost featuring Janet Devlin, this is a really beautiful track with vocals that are far better than most you hear these days.  The synergy between Emery and Devlin is stellar, and makes for one of the best tracks I have heard all year.
Another of my favorites off the album is Sansa, named for his daughter.  This one is so beautifully melodic and got in my soul so quickly, that I couldn't not put it on this list!  For sure a beautiful track and worth your time without a doubt!
The Story So Far has the best melodic and tonal sequences of any song on this album, and really any song I have heard in some time.  The whole album is killer but this one really got in my head and in my head.  The sequences are so well done and feel so fluid and natural, not to mention the ambiance noise that really gives it a feel of intensity!
Really though, the entire album is amazing and worth a listen and you can check it out here: 100 Reasons to Live

0688 - Come on back home

There are some songs that you never expect to hear a good remix of, and Coming Home by Skylar Grey was one of those songs for me.  That is why I had hesitation when clicking on this remix, but I am so glad that I did.  The song carries so much emotion and memory for me, that when I clicked on the remix, it brought it all back in wonderful fashion.  It's a beautiful remix that features glitched samples on the vocal chorus that really make for a unique tonal sequence.  Not to mention the drop is catchy and not so heavy that it throws off the vibe of the whole song, a great remix in my opinion.

0687 - Just Beat 'Em Down

Wednesday is here, so lets gets things goin fast and furious with a new track from Stonebank called Be Alright with EMEL on vocals.  This hard dance song really got me moving, because it keeps the tonality that I really love out of house music and progressive house.  It moves quick, but it is so easy to jam out to!
Second up on this day of bangers, we have a new track from Destructo, Wax Motif, and Vanilla Ace called Beatdown.  This one is a bass heavy track that gives such an in your face vibe, with rap that honestly sounds like Snoop Dog.  This one is absolutely electric, and I love it and I hope that you do too!

0686 - Chill On Some Wings

Let's slow things down a little bit with a track from Sound Patrol and VDG called Paper Wings, and while this one is much more on the slow and sweet side, that doesn't take away from the atmosphere of the track.  You can really feel a lot while listening to this song, or at least I did, just from the beautiful vocals and the great tonality.  Enjoy!
Also up today is a new track from BUNT, the artist who brought Folk House to our ears, and has put out 2 great mixes (I'lll post the other one soon I promise) highlighting what the genre can do.  This one is called Coming Home and features Sons of the East.  This song is wonderful in melding the two genres, with a great folk section moving into a beautiful house drop with the continual tonality that helps me fall in love with songs like this so easily.

0685 - Take Me Somewhere Else

Let's kick the week of with a big one from Tyron Hapi and Sarah Bodle called Oceans.  I've been on the lookout for a new track thats worthy of putting on here because Tyron Hapi usually puts out bounce music that seems pretty generic.  However, this one is really pretty, catchy, and I love it.  It is the perfect blend of dancey and chill.
Second up on this dreary Monday is a track from Define Light and Miles Dominic called Elsewhere.  This one is another great mix of beauty and great song design.  The downtime is goregous, with a smooth build that goes into a drop that has the perfect of groove to it.  Easily can be used as a chill relaxing song or a big party song, depending on your mood!

0683 - Chase the Summer

First up today is a song that I found from a TV show I watch.  It caught me immediately and I looked like a fool holding my phone with Shazam up to my computer screen.  I love this track from Jai Wolf called Indian Summer, it's absolutely gorgeous.  Chill, tonal, melodic, catchy as hell, and just beautiful all around.
Also up today is a bit more of a chill track from Runaground called Chase You Down.  Its got a very similar vibe to Indian Summer.  Very relaxing, great tonality, this one has better vocals though!  Enjoy both of these tracks!

Jai Wolf - Indian Summer

RUNAGROUND - Chase You Down

0684 - Banger Resist

Let's kick off Banger Wednesday (first one in a long time) with a track from JETFIRE called Resistance.  This one hits hard and heavy with a big bassline drop that I can for sure see people vibing and dancing like crazy in a club.  The interludes are much more calm, and have a very unique sound and vibe to them, making for an overall really solid track!

0682 - Can You Hear the Calling?

Let's start the week with something really cool and relaxing.  This track from Vijay and Sofia Zlatko called Labour is a beautiful and relaxing track with a very Spanish feel to it.  It has great guitar, nice deep vocals, and a cool and calm driving bass during the chorus.  Not to mention some really beautiful interludes with guitar and foot traffic noise.  For sure worth your time if you like the chill stuff.
TheFatRat is one of my favorite artists that I have been following for some time, and his new track The Calling is absolutely stunning.  Beautiful tonality mixed with a bit of a glitchy sound and a little dash of vocal work from Laura Brehm really comes together to make an incredible track.  Enjoy and I will see you back here tomorrow!

0681 - You Be the Shit

Florian Picasso comes in hot today with a new track called Hanoi.  This one is pretty good, I love the feel and the energy that comes off it.  Not too heavy of a track but big enough drops and transitions to make you want to jump out of your seat.  And best of all, it is free!
Evan Berg really delivers with this remix of Lost Kings' track You, the main chorus is catchy as shit and I absolutely love it.  This one was stuck in my head for a good three or four days before I realized it.  Give it a listen and enjoy!

0680 - Rewind the Sunset

Tritonal has come back big with a new track called Rewind.  I have always had a stigma of them that they do these generic big tracks that everyone loves for a few months, then forgets about.  This one is my exception to the rule.  I love this track, it has got tonality, a killer drop, and an amazingly dancey vibe.  Enjoy it!
On the more relaxing song, we have a new track from Mako called Into the Sunset.  This one has a beautiful chilled out vibe to it.  Just a really feel good track that I hope you enjoy!

0679 - Clearest Heartbeat

Pegboard Nerds are finally getting back on my good side, and the MIU remix of their track Hearbit only helps the cause.  This remix is killer, with a huge bass, great fast tonal scaling, and just an intense "in your face" vibe.  I'm not sure if this would be considered hardcore or dubstep, but one of the last drops makes me think it might just have a killer bassline.  I love this remix and I hope you like it too.
Second up today is the Gryffin Remix of CHVRCHES track Clearest Blue.  This one is absolutely gorgeous, with a drop progression that had me swinging and got stuck in my head immediately.  The vocals are pretty on point, and the entire song just has a very uplifting and intense feel.  Enjoy these 2 tracks and I will see you back here tomorrow!

Pegboard Nerds - Heartbit (MIU Remix)

CHVRCHES - Clearest Blue (Gryffin Remix)

0678 - Welcome Back, I've Missed You All

I'm hoping this is the start of more daily updates.  My life has been absolutely insane lately with my job search living situation, and life is just chaotic.  But I realized I wasn't giving myself time to relax, and writing these posts has always been one of my favorite parts of the day. So lets get thing goin again.

Faded by Alan Walker is one of my favorite songs, Period.  Now, finally, everyone is getting their hands on it for the official remixes.  One of my favorites is Tiesto's Deep House remix.  Right from the beginning I could tell I would love this.  The intro was so smooth and just went perfectly into the main sequence.  Smooth, beautiful, and my favorite remix (but still behind the original and the restrung version).
I've said many times how much I respect people that can play music live using beatpads, the memorization and coordination is incredible.  I love watching people play on them and I feel the music they produce has so much more power because you aren't just watching someone push play.  This mix is from Nev highlighting some 250 songs from the Youtube channel MrSuicideSheep.  It is incredible, enjoy!

0677 - Oh No It's So Right

Let's keep this groovy week goin with a track from the Electroswing master Jamie Berry!  It Ain't Right is a track that literally had me dancing in my car coming home from work and got me some hilarious looks.  With an old time sounding melodic progression, a great groovy bass, and vocal samples that feel like we've been transported back in time!

Jamie Berry - It Ain't Right

0676 - ElectroSwing Week!

It's that time of year again!  When we do an entire week focusing on Electroswing!  Let's kick things off with Ladies Night from 11 Acorn Lane.  This one is catchy as hell, with a horn filled background, and very retro sounding vocal track.  I have been grooving to this one since it was placed in my blog playlist!

0675 - Closer to Candy

Always love seeing new tracks from Elephante, they always put me in a good mood.  This track featuring vocals from Bishop is stellar, a driving melodic house track that I really fell in love with.  It has catchy melodies mixed with the vocal track that combines with it perfectly!
I love great instrumentation in tracks, as many of you know, and Jazzy songs always seem to have the best use of piano and horns.  Jazz Candy VIP by Nate Harrell is no exception.  This track perfectly blends the magic of electro funk with the great instrumentation and groove that is usually found in Jazz.  It has such a great flow and the dance potential is through the roof!

0674 - Morning UnderRush

Let's kick things off with a stellar track from Rhodz called Morning Rush, and the title couldn't be more fitting in this scenario.  The track feels like you are driving to work just a few minutes behind schedule and are hauling ass on the freeway to try to make up the time.  It has such a happy upbeat feel to it, added perfectly with a sense of urgency in some sequences and with a calm "GOOD MORNING" energy in other parts.
At this point everyone and their mother has heard of Undertale and no matter what their opinion on the game is, you can't deny that the music for the game was absolutely incredible.  Some of the remixes of the tracks have been horrible, but some have also been very good.  One example of one I really enjoyed was the Holder remix of Bonetrousle, its a lot faster than the original but I love the unique spin put on the song while still keeping the feel of the original.  Enjoy!

0673 - Don't ever leave

First up for you listening pleasure is a extremely pleasant track from Tom Swoon and Mosimann called I'm Leaving.  The vocals are absolutely beautiful and the rhythms are catchy as hell, it has been stuck in my head since I first heard it.  Enjoy the drop that hits big but focuses mostly on tonality as opposed to just having a huge bass.

0672 - Please Don't Change

Wasteland hits it out of the park with Change Your Mind.  A deep bass and a hugely dancey vibe, this one has been stuck in my head from the moment I heard it.  The vocals are deep and catchy as hell, the tonality is absolutely perfect, and the builds just left me in a phenomenal place!  Not to mention the addition of horns is flawless, Enjoy!

0671 - Nothing Matters but Your Eyes

First for you today I have a remix from Havsun and Lindhjem of Matt Nash's track Nothing Else Matters.  This remix is smooth as butter, a remix that I actually like better than the original.  It is smooth with is mellow points and then hits big and often with the drops.  Extremely dance-worthy, this one has been stuck in my head for some time.  The melodic drop really puts the nail in the framework of a beautiful track!
Continuing with artists with really strange names, we have Aiobahn and Jh Anu with their killer track City in my Eyes.  It is a really nice melodic track that has a bit of a repetitive nature to it but is overall a very solid song.  Great vocals mixed with amazing tonality make for a truly quality song!

0670 - Throw a GD Parade

Pop can be great in certain circumstances, and this is one of those special situations.  NeZoomie's track Parade is an electro-pop masterpiece. It has an amazing upbeat feel with vocals that are absolutely amazing, mixed with great tonality that honestly just made me want to get up and groove.  Enjoy!

NeZoomie - Parade

0669 - From Uptown to the Ocean

Boy Kiss Girl is the perfect name for an artist who makes tropical house, and the track Ocean from Boy Kiss Girl is just a quality tropical track.  With great instrumentation, vocals that flow with the track really well (I'm not saying they're good), and just a happy flowing vibe!  Enjoy!

Nick Havsen brings us this next remix which is a beautifully melodic deep house remix of Tim Gartz's song Uptown Girl.  This one just flows so well, the tonality is perfect, although the vocals could be dropped to make the song better in my opinion.  A killer track that's been stuck in my head for some time!

0668 - Is it Summer Yet?

Since the weather is getting warm, I am totally comfortable starting to post more summery and happy house music again.  Today we have a track that has been meaning to come to the blog for about a year, but got lost in the mix (see what I did there?).  It is just a feel good summery house track from Distrion called Golden Summer, one that I really enjoyed and got me feeling in a tropical mood!

0667 - Don't Wait And Be Alone

First up today is a great track from Gazzo featuring SugarWhiskey called What You Waiting For.  This one just has a really fun and energizing feel to it.  It's not a amazingly unique song but I love the tones and the energy it gives off is quick moving and extremely dancey!  Enjoy!

Also for you on this Hump Day is a new track from Pegboard Nerds, who I think I can finally listen to without hating everything again, and Grabbitz called All Alone.  This Drumpstep track is a bit strange but I really enjoyed it.  With a great melody and nice big and glitchy bass, this one got me really hyped.  The melodic and calm transition sequences really make the big drops feel so much more epic!

Gazzo - What You Waiting For

Pegboard Nerds & Grabbitz - All Alone

0666 - Relax Satan

First for your ears today is a chilled out trap song from Said the Sky called Book Of Us, and this one has been stuck in my head for some time!  It is a bit different from what is usually stuck up there, but the melodies are so catchy that I catch myself humming it at work.  I think you will really like this one, even if trap music isn't your favorite.
Also up to help you relax today is one of the most chilled out Drum and Bass tracks I have ever heard and it comes to us from Elka.  Games We Play is fast moving and just about the most beautiful song I have heard come out of the Drum and Bass genre in some time.  The tonality is gorgeous, the vocals are hauntingly fitting, and their is a lot of emotion in this one.  Enjoy these two chill tracks!

0665 - Heading Up Technology

First up for you today is another track of Armin Van Buuren's new album called Heading Up High featuring Kensington.  I love this one because it has such a rock feel to it, a bit different from the usual Trance that Armin puts out.  The song is catchy as hell and the rock/trance hybrid really makes for a unexpectedly wonderful track. (Look for Hardwell in the Music Video!)
Also, I have a track from BlackGummy called Plucking Technology.  This big bass track features a catchy and very well put together tonal array, that makes the song feel very futuristic.  I really love it and I hope you do too!

0664 - The Thirst For Games

Goldfish is known for their wonderful saxophone work, and a song just popped up that I forgot about just came back up called Games Continued.  This song is beautiful and I know that many of you may have already heard this before but I haven't shared it here yet and it needs to be shared ASAP.  This song is beautiful and the vocals really give it a beautiful vibe to the wonderful funk vibe.  Enjoy or enjoy again!
Also on the block today is another little something different from Hilltop Hoods.  I am not usually a fan of rap, but these guys do it right.  The Thirst Part 7 combines beautiful backgrounds with a smooth and melodic rap that really put me in a wonderful place.  The track is beautiful and I hope you give it a chance!

0663 - Get Some Rap, Then Get It Live

Good rap mixed with great backtrack can be really incredible, and I hate modern rap so finding a rap song that really resonates with me is fairly hard to do if it was made after 2010.  This one is superb, Mighty and High by Can't Stop Won't Stop.  The flow is absolutely incredible, and the lyrics fit the track really well.  Overall a very well put together and classic feeling rap track, give it a listen and I hope you like it!
I love seeing electronic music performed live, so seeing someone like Madeon and Chromeo live was a mind blowing and life changing way to look at music.  So seeing Haywyre perform his track Endlessly live really switched my perspective on the artist.  Give it a listen, and let his beautiful piano work take you away to another plane.

Can't Stop Won't Stop - Mighty & High

Haywyre - Endlessly (Live Performance)

0662 - How Much Funk Can You Handle?

Funk is easily one of my favorite genres because of the diverse approach that many artists take to the same idea and concept.  First up is a NuFunk track from The Noisy Freaks called Funk You Up.  Its heavily electronic, with stellar vocals, and an interlude that left me just wanting more and more.  Give it a listen, kick up your shoes and just let it take you on an adventure!
Second up is a NuJazz (oh these subgenres are just getting amazing.  First Folk House, and now this?) track from April Fools Music called One Hell Of A Groove.  This one is a bit different with a very unexpected jazz feel and sound that really works in with the bassline and groove much better than I honestly expected that it would.  Enjoy!

0661 - Stuck in my Skull

In homage to one of my other favorite music blogs, today will be about two songs that I have had stuck in my head for quite some time.  The first is the Jerome Tropical remix of DJ Antoine's track Thank You.  This song is beautiful in every sense of the word, the vocals are amazing and beautiful, the message is great, and the smooth tropical sounds are infectious as they come.  This track has been stuck in my head for weeks and I don't want it out!
Second up is perhaps my favorite song I have heard this year, Faded by Alan Walker.  This song is the definition of beauty in music.  It brings out some strong emotions in me, seeming to hook me emotionally every single time that I listen to it.  It is a bit slower and not as intense as other tracks, but carries so much weight and beauty.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

DJ Antoine - Thank You (Jerome Tropical Remix)

Alan Walker - Faded

0658 - Mashup Smashup

The White Panda did some really magical stuff with their last album, and I want to share some of my favorite tracks from their new album.  Let's start with the mother fucking Wild Wild West remix, because this one is amazing.  Will Smith crossed with Vicetone to create what could possibly be my favorite mashup ever.  They work together so well, the rap and electronic rhythms, create a masterpiece and I think you'll agree.
My second favorite off the album is the mashup of Syn Cole, Sam Feldt, and Halsey.  This one is just beautiful, one of my favorite tropical house lines mixed in with some really beautiful tonality and mashed up to create a superb track.  Enjoy!

The White Panda - Wild Wild Catch (Will Smith / Vicetone)

The White Panda - Bright Young God (Halsey / Syn Cole / Sam Feldt)

0660 - I Heard You Like Free Shit

First up for you free folks is a track from Shanahan called Never Afraid.  With autotuned sounding vocal samples this one really got me in a good mood.  The great Piano sequences really took me to a great place, and mixed with the feel good progressive drop you really can't go wrong with this track.  Give it a listen and pick up the download!
Second up is a much more mellow chill funk track from AWR and Sonny Alven.  This track is beautiful, also featuring a great piano sequence accompanying the vocals.  It goes from chill and then gets really funky during the chorus.  I hope you like a groove to it as much as I did!

Shanahan - Never Afraid (Free Download)

AWR x Sonny Alven - Darkenss (Free Download)

0659 - Give Me That Sweet Funk

Let's get our funk groove back with a wonderful remix from the Lost Kings of Sugar.  This song has such a great happy upbeat vibe and had me grooving in my car like a crazy person, to the point where people were staring.  This track has all the funk that you need to help you get through the day!

0657 - Let's Synchronize

Two Killer tracks for you today.  The first is a future bass track from Haywyre called I Am You.  The glitched out vocals really give it a strange feel but the smooth nature of the bass and the little bit of glitch added really makes it a unique and pretty track.  Plus the progression really made me happy.  Enjoy!
Second is more of a chill track from Hellberg called Synchronize.  The build is chill as hell and the vocals are seriously beautiful, and the drop is perfect.  Not too much and still has a chill air to it, while coming in heavier than the rest of the track.  I hope you enjoy this one, because it has been playing almost daily for me!

Haywyre - I Am You

Hellberg - Synchronize

0656 - Bottle of Groove

The first track that I have for you on this Tuesday is the Achtabahn remix of Milky Way's track Bottle of Jack.  This track is amazing, such good groove and great vocals that mimic the beat perfectly.  I love everything about this track and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

0655 - Happy and Outta Control

Back in the normal swing and feeling good, we start off another wonderful week of music!  Let's kick things off with an amazingly funky track from RetroVision called Happy Hour!  This track has the feel good vibes, the wonderful beauty, mixed with a little dash of 8-bit, and a plentyful helping of groove.  Also up today is a strange compilation track featuring.....Sean Paul and Yolanda Be Cool?  This track is catchy as fuck and has a great groove to it but I can not understand a word of the vocals.  The beat is typical Yolanda Be Cool, and I am so glad to see them back making new music!  Let me know what you think of this one because I honestly don't know what I think about it overall!

RetroVision - Happy Hour

Sean Paul feat. Yolanda Be Cool - Outta Control

0654 - Tchami

Tchami is a legend and I was so pleased to meet him on the final night of Holy Ship.  His originals are mind blowing and his remixes just come into the realm of legendary status.  For sure one of the people I was most excited to meet, especially after seeing his amazing sets on the boat and the beach!  I have two tracks for you, an original and a remix.  The first is Tchami's original After Life, this one has a killer drop that I'm pretty sure I lost it to on the boat.  The second track is Tchami's remix of AlunaGeorge's track, You Know You Like It.  This was the first remix of the song I ever heard, and now it's the only one that sounds right.  Enjoy and see you next week!

0653 - Rezz

So I honestly knew very little about Rezz before going on this trip, but I can honestly say her first set was one of the best I have ever seen in my entire life.  Her logo is killer, she's about as adorable as a person can be, and her signature DJ move just got the entire crowd hyped up every time she dropped a song.  I will for sure be keeping an eye on her in the coming months, but it was so wonderful to meet her (plus she was talking to Porter Robinson during the M Machine's set so I'm super jealous of that.  I honestly couldn't pick just one song of hers after coming back from Holy Ship and binge listening to her music so here are three of her tracks that I really love; Serenity, Negative, and Lost.

Rezz - Serenity
Rezz - Negative
Rezz - Lost

0652 - Jauz and The M Machine

On my adventures during Holy Ship I had the pleasure of meeting Jauz for the first time and The M Machine for the second!  Jauz was honestly not someone I knew a whole lot about before setting sail, but his sets were just purely magical.  His flow is beautiful, and his big bass sound really set me off on the dance floor!  Here is one of his great tracks titled Feel the Volume.  The M Machine I have gotten to know for their smooth as butter transitions during sets, just making them feel continuous and stunningly fluid.  No one song I can pick can exhibit this, but instead I will just throw you guys one of my favorite songs of theirs, Tiny Anthem.

0651 - Thomas Jack

Thomas Jack was one of the people I as most excited about going into Holy Ship so of course I almost peed myself when I met him coming out of the buffet on night 1 and on the beach party on Day 2.  Being basically one of the founders of tropical house, I have loved his music from the first time I heard it.  And he was such a cool guy too!  So I will share with you two of my favorite Thomas Jack songs, an amazing remix and the best original tropical house songs since the genre was founded.
The first is the Of Monsters and Men track Little Talks, a masterpiece of a track if there ever was one.  Working so well with the vocals and original sounds of Of Monsters and Men, and then adding his signature Tropical house love to the track.
The original that I would like to share with you is Rivers, a really beautiful and super vibe heavy song that just stirs up a lot of emotions whenever I hear it.  It is just such a well put together track that is very dancey, with a vocal sequence that adds perfectly to the tropical sounds.  Give it a listen and I hope you enjoy this wonderful artist as much as I do!

0650 - Destructo and Felix Da Housecat

So I had the pleasure of meeting both Destructo and Felix da Housecat during my adventures on Holy Ship!  We saw Destructo both at the preparty and he did a Sunrise Sermon from 6-9am.  He absolutely killed it, playing his signature Techno (Nobody Listens to Techno) and some other truly amazing tracks.  So I will share Techno in case you haven't heard it and one of my favorites, Dare You to Move.
Felix da Housecat played an incredible set on the beach party, it was groovy it was beatiful, and I was grooving so hard.  He was also such a nice guy, and I served him a slice of pizza!  Here is my favorite Felix track called Neon Human

0649 - Ya Gotta Hear Me Out

Armada has been surprising me with their Deep House releases lately, bringing the company back into the positive eye from my point of view.  TRU Concept's latest track Hear Me Out is a really great Deep House track that has just about everything you could ever want.  Great vocals that go throughout the song instead of just leading up to the drop, great tonality over all of the instrumentation, and just an overall great deep feel!  Give it a listen and enjoy!

0648 - It's Quite a SCNDL

You guys know I love SCNDL, almost everything they have put out has amazed me and the new track Meant To Be is a wonderful Future and Bounce Hybrid track.  The melodic tonality of and big bass really come together to make a phenomenal song!  Enjoy!
We also invite Caravan Palace to join us on this day full of Bangers.  Their track Lone Digger is a really groovy and just phenomenal, plus the music video is strange as fuck.  The groove from this song reaches the god damn starts and just makes me want to dance in my office while I type this post. Tell me what you think!

0647 - Say Meow

First track up today is a bit of a strange song from Bali Bandits called Mr. Meow, I don't know what it is about the song but it has a strange cartoon/anime vibe to it.  It sounds so playful and I honestly love every second of it.  The tonality is wonderful, I don't really get the vocal sample or have any idea what the words are 90% of the time, but I think that adds to it a bit!  Enjoy!

0646 - Old And New At The Same Time

Today's track is from BUNT called Old Guitar, and I love the vibe that this one throws out.  Feels a bit like Avicii, and the guitar and banjo that are featured give it a very Of Monsters and Men vibe.  I can for sure see myself dancing to this one, but it is a bit more on the indie and pop side.  Don't miss this one though!

Update: I also found a folk mix from BUNT if you enjoyed the song above!

0645 - Forgiveness Always Comes Around Again

First track up today is from Kasbo called Again, a smooth as butter Future Bass track.  This one is relaxing, beautifully tonal, and just all around an amazingly well put together track.  Enjoy it and kick your feet up!
Second up is another relaxing and super melodic track from Made In Heights called Forgiveness.  This one is so minimalistic, with almost no bass and just amazingly melodic sequences coming from every instrument.  The minimal angle works really well though as it just took me to a very retro feeling paradise.

0644 - Let's Get it On

Today's banger comes from Ghastly called Get On This, and this one is intense.  A solid build followed by a glitchy and intense drop.  I honestly wasn't too sure about this one in the first minute or so but after a while I grew to really love it.  The progression adds a lot as the main chorus goes on and I hope you get as hype to it as I did!

0643 - The Panda is Back in Play

I have been a lover of The White Panda since the release of their first album, and although none will quite stack up to that first album they continue to put out stellar mashups.  Their new album The Pawprint is no exception to the rule.  This is full of killer mashups, my favorite of which is Bitch Better Come With Me Now, a mashup of Beyonce's Bitch Better Have My Money and KONGOS' track Come With Me Now.  It is unexpected and amazing, but give the whole album a listen to fully appreciate it!  Watch it on youtube to get a tracklist in the description!

0642 - Mellow Monday

I think Mondays will now be Mellow/Melodic Mondays.  I like this theme.  So let us kick it off with some mellow and relaxing tracks, the first of which comes from Cj RcM called 1,000 Ways.  This one starts off beautifully, and its hard to tell the direction it is going to go!  It moves into a beautiful melodic sequence, full of great instrumentation and beautiful progression.  Enjoy!
Second up on this new day is MitiS remix of Seven Lion's track Fading Away.  Beautiful vocals, a great relaxing melody and killer piano really take this one away into a spot of relaxing and wonder.  Closing my eyes I envisioned myself on a cliff overlooking pastures.  No huge bass, just beauty!

641 - A Funky Palette Cleanse

As much as I enjoyed talking about music I don't necessarily love yesterday, I feel like we need a funk filled palette cleanse today.  Let's start with the Falcon Funk remix of  Hoverboots' track Bells, a funky heavy hitting piece of art.  This one has the funk flow mixed in perfectly with a heavy hitting bass that gives it a fantastic vibe, and tonal sequences that were exactly what I needed to finish out my week.
Also for your musical enjoyment we have the Bit Funk Remix of Pineapple Pop's track RVLTN.  This one is a bit more on the simplistic side, but you can't contest the groove it has if you tried.  The instrumentation is wonderful with a simple tonal bassline drop that surprised me a lot.  Give it a listen and have a wonderful weekend!

0640 - Bad Bounce Thursday

Welcome to a new themed day that I'm expecting to happen about once a month.  I call it Bad Bounce Thursday.  Usually on this blog I post songs I love, music I'm passionate about, but I figure every once in a while I need to rant about songs I don't like that bug me.  Today's topic: Melbourne Bounce.  True, some of it can be done really well, and I know this boils down to personal preference, but most of it honestly I think is trash.  So lets explore some bad bounce!

First up is Shake 'Em by Vikstrom.  I honestly liked the tonality at the beginning of this one, but once the vocals came in "Shake Them Titties and Let's Get Fucked" I was done.  Just gave up entirely, I can't take songs seriously with a vocal sample like that.  Also the drop could have hit so much harder, but it comes off as so simplistic.  Just a let down of a song that I think had potential.

Second up is a track from Benny Bubblez (are you serious?) and Releiv called Let's Fuck Step Side.  I had no confidence in the track from the title, so coming in I wasn't too disappointed.  During the first minute of the song I thought I had 2 songs playing at the same time, it just sounds so off and confusing.  After the conflicting start it drops super simple, and at a totally different volume.  The vocals just don't sound like they belong here at all.  Just another bad bounce song.

0639 - What The Frizz

The track I have for you today is Future track that I really enjoy, Frizz from Adam Aesalon and Murat Salman.  Its got great tonal sequences, even has a part that sounds like an old music box that made me really nostalgic.  It drops into a big section that really just hyped me up and made me want to dance around my office.

0637 - Chillax and Relax

Happy day off everyone!  Sit back and relax with the smooth tracks that I have for you to relax to!  First up is the Milk and Cooks remix of Lauv's track Reforget.  This one is smooth as butter, with chilling vocals, tropical tones that flow like water, and just an overall vibe of relaxation.
Second up today is another track from Tobu, who had that killer tropical house track Summer Breeze I posted a while ago.  This one has more of a house feel to it for sure, but still carries that summer attitude and sound.  The tonality is wonderful, and the vibe is just beautiful and happy go lucky.  Enjoy!
Lauv - Reforget (Milk and Cooks Remix)

Tobu - Reflection

0638 - Restart Just Once More

Once More from Luke Bond and CARTEL is a beautiful trance song that really grabbed my attention from the second I heard it.  It has beautiful melodic segments, amazing vocals during breakdowns leaving them as the only sound (powerful), and a drop that is catchy and extremely dancable.  Give it a listen and enjoy what these two artists bring to the table!
Also up on the trance menu for today is a track from KhoMha called Restart.  This one is a little more continuously upbeat, and I honestly think an extremely well put together Trance song.  It's catchy, has vocals that stick with you due to the harmony, and a tonality that really had me replaying the song to make sure I remembered it!  These two songs are the embodiment of why I love Trance, they provide the club tracks that keep tonality and don't sacrifice it for that crap big room sound!

0636 - It Shouldabeen A Fine Way

First up on this Funky of Fridays, is a NuDisco track from Copyac called Shouldabeen.  It has a great classic NuDisco vibe mixed in with some great tonality and a driving bassline.  This one just put me in a great mood!

Also for you musical enjoyment today is the VIP mix of GRiZ's track A Fine Way To Die and let me tell you that this one is just classic GRiZ.  Its tonally amazing with catchy beats that aren't particulary dancey but they are funky as hell.  Of course it is full of horns, with stellar instrumentation, and great builds (but what GRiZ song doesn't have these things).

Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!

GRiZ - A Fine Way To Die (VIP Mix)

0635 - An Elephante For Christmas

First up is the Jenaux remix of Elephante's track Age of Innocence.  This track starts off absolutely beautifully with soft tones, then it starts to go into some funk beats as it builds.  Finally it moves into a beautifully wonderful piece full of funk and crazy tonality.  I hope you enjoy it!
Most Christmas remixes feel tacky and overdone, but this one was the perfect mix of the original and some subtle Christmas sounds thrown in.  The song is Reality by Lost Frequencies, mixing in some of the normal instruments with sleigh bells and deeper pitched bells really bring this track to an interesting place.  I know it is way past Christmas but I really enjoyed the vibe that this one gave off!

0634 - Count the Cops

First up today is a new track from John Dahlback called Count to Ten.  This one is a banger the vocals are pretty average but the vibe that they give off is unmatched.  The beats from Dahlback are always good, and although this one feels much more like a pop song, it still has the banger spirit that his tracks always seem to have.

Second up is a big one from Katdrop called Call the Cops, deep, easy to dance to, and with an epic feel during the tonal sequences that kinda sounds like it is from Space Jam.  The bounce mixed with the tonality really puts this one in high regard in my book.  Enjoy!

0633 - 3LAU DAY

So 3LAU's birthday was 3 days ago, and as part of his celebration he released Dance Floor Filth 5 for free!  10 free tracks including remixes, mashups, and even an original track!  I'll be sharing my favorite mashup, remix, and the original from the album but I encourage you to download the entire album and find your own favorite!

DOWNLOAD THE ALBUM

So we will start with the remixes.  As much as I hate Justin Bieber as a person, I have to say his music is maturing and I am actually starting to enjoy it.  When 3LAU got his hands on Bieber's new track Sorry, he really produces something exquisite.

My favorite remix from the album 3LAU's track Always and Walk the Moon's top 40 smash Shut Up and Dance.  This remix is amazing, I love the great transition into the drop after the vocals are used flawlessly.  Enjoy!

The original off the album from 3LAU is HSTFU and it features Lazer Lazer Lazer.  This is more of a big room feel track and is different than the other stuff on this album, but I actually enjoyed this one a lot.  Great feel, a great bounce vibe that I can totally see myself jumping to in the front row!

0632 - Back to Grind, Just Relax

Let's start off the week with some relaxing tracks, no matter if you are going back to school or back to work, these are necessary!

First up is a track from Modl called Years From Now, and it is so chill and relaxing it almost put me to sleep this morning.  Starting out really relaxing with great instrumentation and a beautiful glitched out section, this one had me in a great mood from the moment I pressed play!
Second up is the Bee's Knees (love the name) remix of Panama Wedding's track Infinite High.  This one is wonderfully melodic and knocked my socks off with the wonderful mix of 8bit sounds, and the lyrics only help to knock this out of the park.  I hope you enjoy these and remember to relax!
