0505 - You and I Are Right Where We're Supposed To Be

Skrux has gotten me into loving Future Bass.  I have been trying to find the right day to put up this song and today is the day.  It is really chill with great melodic flow and glitched out vocals that compliment the jumpy style really well.  It also has really beautiful piano and drops that just feel so natural and not forced in any way.  Give it a listen!

0504 - Chilled Out, Trilled Out

Sorry folks, as of today posts will be coming a little later in the day, likely a bit closer to 3pm.  Since I got part time work for the summer I am actually working from 9-2 so the post plans to be the first thing I do when I get home.

First up today is All About from Shaun Frank and VanRip.  This Future House track pulls the distorted vocals that I really like and mixes them with a really groovy deep bassline, using tonality to give it a feel of movement.  The staggered drops really seemed unexpected and great as well, and all these elements combine to give a truly good Future House Track.

Second up is a remix of Aer's track I Can't Help It by Win and Woo.  I love these rap and tropical remixes lately, they just have so much flow.  I love the flow of rappers but the beats they pick are so bad, so its nice to hear it mixed over something really sick.  This remix really does a great job of giving Aer a more relaxed feel and something that truly sounds like an original.

0503 - Whats with all the French?

Quick post as today is a hectic day with a lot going on.  Today's track is a French Electro track (going to do some research in the rise of French subgenres and what they mean so I can explain it more) from P R I D E called Mongol.  It has a really strange flow, but it is one that for sure does a lot for itself.  It seems very unique as the bass takes a huge backseat and the melody does a lot of the on beat things.  It is smooth, funky, and overall very well executed.  Enjoy and I will see you back here on Monday!

0502 - GDnB

Up first today is the Matduke remix of Misun's track Eli Eli.  This is the kind of stuff that leaves me confident that Drum and Bass is going to be ok, because after pendulum broke up I was really concerned it would never recover.  Great guitar riffs that accompany the bass and the driving vocals throughout the song, great to groove to and just an overall well done song.  Enjoy this one and I will see you back here tomorrow for Funky Friday!

0501 - The Start of Something Wonderful

Today's track I though was a little cutsey but then realized its actually a big mixable and danceable track, it just has beautiful Music Box like moments.  It is from BlackGummy and titled Lullaby.  Its a beautiful song with tonality that really connected with me and then a drop that caught me off guard.  Enjoy this track and I will see you back here tomorrow!

0500 - A milestone to be Celebrated

I know I seem to do this on every milestone we reach, but I won't stop because it is necessary.  500 posts and 10,700 page views has led this to be one of the best and most enjoyable things I have ever done.  You (yes you reading this) have made it possible though.  The imput, the song posts, taking over for me when I get tired of dealing with social media, you have all contributed and I wouldn't be where I am today without you.  Thank you so much, keep up the good work, and here's to another 500 posts!

I feel like certain songs would fit today very well, Make you Proud by Hedegaard, So much Love to Give by Fedde Le Grand, and too many more.  This is a celebration of you all, so even though I know they are repost, Today's songs are all about how I feel about you all.  Listen to them today and know how much I love and care for you all!

0499 - Delay of Game

Sorry friday's post never came out guys, I drove to Philly and totally underestimated how tired an 8 hour trip would leave me.  The post will be made up this weekend I swear!

Found a good mashup to finally share again!  This one is Daft Punk and Naughty Boy called Get La La from Vijay & Sofia Zlatko.  Its does a great job of combining the vocals with a new fresh voice that really works well with the mellowed out tonality used for this one.  Its got great tropical feeling and flow that is off the charts.  Give a listen and find out for yourself!

0498 - Reality is Better Than Fantasy

First of all, I usually don't get excited about teasers, but the new one from W&W has me a little jacked.  Armada released the trailer for The One this morning, and even though its only a minute, it has me excited for the full release.  Check it out below!
Today's full track comes from Pierce Fulton and is titled In Reality.  This one really hit me in a good place, its just really well put together.  Great tonality and amazing progression in my opinion.  The vocals are faded out a bit as not to overwhelm the melody.  This song just made me really happy, and best of all you can pick it up for free!

0497 - Late but Great

First up today is an original from KSHMR called JAMMU.  This track is a great summer banger, featuring some great pitched out vocals and a catchy and dancy drop.  Big bass and strings really make this one special, giving it a very warm house feel.  Let loose and play this one outside with some drinks in hand!
Also on the docket for today is a track from Hunter Siegel called Still Waiting.  Combining a great build with some big bass and a very dance-worth drop, this one is sure to have people dancing in the clubs.  I can see this one being big in the middle of sets as well, a big bass drop to compliment the previous song.  The vocals are kinda chilling and beautifully tonal.  Enjoy!

0496 - You Just Have to Have Faith

First up is a drumstep remix from Spag Heddy of Helen Corry's track Time.  I have really gotten a big taste for drumstep in the last few months, and this one I really enjoyed.  The melody playing in the background is really catchy and the short cut vocals are really nice and sharp.  The drop is nice although a bit generic, still all combine to make a really enjoyable song though!
Also coming straight to your ears today is a track from SirensCeol called Faith In You.  A truly exemplary track, there isn't much about this one I don't like.  Great progression, memorable tonality, vocal samples mixed in just a little bit, great chilled out transitions, and a drop that took me by surprise.  Give it a listen and I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!

0495 - Summer Adventures

First up is a sick beatpad mashup coming from M4SONIC.  I have so much for respect for DJs that use beatpads, not only is it visually appealing but I see it as most amazing form of performing electronic music.  Not only is there so much memorization and coordination, but so much coordination (I also fucking love the Aziz Ansari sample in this one).  Give it a listen, appreciate the art, and let this mashup into your ear holes.

Also up on today's playlist is a Future Bass track from Hyper Potions and Subtact titled Adventures.  It has a really heavy 8-bit feel to it, that transforms into a really beautiful melody.  Its nothing to be danced to and I can't really see it being performed, but christ it sounds good leaning back in a chair with headphones on.  Enjoy these and I will see you back here tomorrow!

0494 - The Vision Of The Weekend

Two tracks for you today, one funk one tropical (trying to post less tropical because I realized that was like all I posted for like a month).  The First track is from Joey Chicago called The One For Me.  This is actually French House, which I honestly don't know a whole lot about the genre, I just know I like it.  Its got great retro sounding vocals, a nice fast pace, good movement, and an overall great groove.  Driving and pretty, this one will for sure help you speed through the rest of your Friday!  Second up is a nice Tropical House remix from Boehm of Cheat Codes' track Visions.  Mixing in the vocals from the original, Boehm gives the song a nice new summery feel.  A little bouncy mixing in a really groovy chorus line, this one had me from the first drop.  The beginning had me a little skeptical, but about a minute in I was hooked!  I hope you enjoy these as much as I did and I will see you back here on Monday!

0493 - Return and Give

First up today is a DnB track from Dabin & Feint called When You Return.  This starts off beautifully, with great tonality, and then picks up into the DnB style that I know Feint for.  It does a phenomenal job of transitioning and managing between the Drum and Bass segments and the beautiful tonal ones better than anything I have heard in some time.  Give it a listen!

Second up is a chilled out very Michael Jackson-esk remix from Tontario of MO's track Give It To Me.  The vocals are phenomenal and really do sound like the King of Pop himself, not to mention all the other miscellaneous vocal samples sound dead on.  It for sure has a nice drive and groove to it, keeping the bass moving the whole time with great chord movement.

0492 - Throw That Banger Tantrum

Two big banger tracks for you today.  The first comes from Tantrum Desire, with a song building up to the release of their first album "Diversified".  Get It On is a huge track with a little dash of bounce thrown in, great progression, and a really catchy chord sequence.  I can see this one absolutely killing it mixed in at a festival or just in a mix.  I hope to do something with it once I figure out why my laptop won't record audio!
Second up is a new track from James Egbert called Underdog.  A heavy hitting intense track, this one is perfect for Banger Wednesday.  Usually not my style but I really like the direction he took, still keeping good tonality and then throwing in a killer bassline.

0491 - Dads In Space

Today's track has some very throwback feels to it.  Stephen Walking is know for putting out really quality songs so I was very excited to see something new.  I was very surprised by this one though because it has such a 80s/90s feel to it.  Kinda sounds like it would be something played during the end credits of a cheesy sports movie.  Overall a really great and solid track that I think will catch you by surprise as well!

0490 - Something Strange Comes to Westeros

Before we get to the song for today I want to share a really interesting piece of music.  We all know Game of Thrones has exploded over the past years, so remixes of the theme song had to come eventually, and today I found one from Trance Legend Armin Van Buuren.  I'm not sure how I honestly feel about it but it is pretty cool to hear the reimagined version.  Give it a listen and tell me what you think!

Today's real song comes from Elephante, an original titled Temporary Love.  Driving bass, vocals that work really well into the rhythm, and a really catchy drop make this into another quality Elephante track that I have come to know and love.

0489 - Funky Con Friday

Funky Friday!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and for those at Colossalcon, I hope I get to see you this weekend!  Today's track comes from Spazzkid and is remixed by Suken, titled Promise.  Its funky and has a great groove!  The distorted vocals really don't take away much from the track, mostly because its really hard to understand them.  An overall good groovy track with a free download available if you really like it!

0488 - That Endless Interstellar

Ever since I heard this first song I knew that it would be stuck in my head and would eventually end up on this blog.  It got placed on a playlist and slipped my mind.  I love going back and finding these tracks. and this one from Laszlo made me so happy to discover again.  Its got great 8 bit style sounds and really great builds into very catchy drops that just put me in an extremely good mood.  I hope it gets you in a happy mindset like it did for me!
Second track to help you get through this Wednesday is from SirensCeol called Endlessly.

0487 - Dance Dance Never Stop

On this banger day I bring you a track from Felix Jaehn called Dance With Me, remixed by Calvo.  Its got that great deep feel to it, has great catchy tonality mixed in with pretty good vocals, and really bouncy and easy to dance too!  I can see this one doing really well in mixes as well as at clubs just because the deep vibe makes it so intense!

0486 - New Colors

Today's track comes from Julian Calor and is called Another Color.  This track is really beautiful, taking multiple different styles in order to achieve this wonderful electro track.  It doesn't really conform to the usual format, but takes its own way with multiple less intense parts leading into a tonal drop with a bass that changes with the sequences.  A track that I really enjoyed and I hope that you will too!

0485 - Don't Forget the Girl

So just a heads up everyone, Posts Thursday and Friday will be a little different this week.  Thursday will go up really early and Friday will go up via mobile due to Colossalcon!

First track is a hard dance track from Stonebank called The Pressure.  I am usually not a huge fan of hard dance, but ever since Nanobii's Track Rainbow Road and Stonebank's track Stronger, I always give them a chance.  I really enjoyed this one, yes it is really fast, but its not overwhelming at all.  It has got great tonality and and really relaxing breakdown.  Its catchy, dancy, and just an overall well done track!
Second up is a song by Hellberg called the Girl.  What got me was the amazing range of the vocal artist Cozi Zuehlsdorff, and the great drop.  Both of these really hooked me into the track.  I tried a few remixes but I really like the piano accompaniment in the original and decided to post it instead.  I really hope you enjoy both these tracks!
