0625 - Let's Let Some Magic Happen

Let's start the day off with some Drum and Bass, a great way to start the day.  Mr. Magician by Subsurface is an amazing track in all regards, the vocals from Leanne Louise is just fabulous, the entire song is beautifully done, and the drop is catchy the perfect blend of melody and signature DnB style.  Give it a listen and I hope you enjoy it!

0624 - The Beautiful Beats

First track up today is That Guy's remix of Kafka Tamura's track No Hope.  A really beautiful and well done Tropical House track that really got me in a groovy and relaxed mindset.  Very melodic and I love the Marimba-esk and guitar sounds that is used for the main melody.  I hope you enjoy it!

Next up is a really beautiful atmospheric track from MaLuca called Forever.  Just plain beautiful, I mean there is really no other way to describe the sound and feeling that this track gives out.  Sit back, put on some headphones, close your eyes, and let this one take you to another plane of reality!

0623 - How Can You Not Love a Song Called Porkchop Express?

I have liked just about everything that Tristam has put out, all of his Drumstep, Glitch Hop, and Dubstep songs have been amazing and his song Flight with Braken was easily my favorite song for some time.  Therefore I was really excited to see a new song of his pop up on my Youtube subscriptions.  The Vine starts off really beautiful and melodic, and moves into a style that I can't describe but can only be described as classic Tristam.  The drop is dancey, very melodic, and I just really enjoyed it!  Give it a listen!

Second up is an 8-bit track from Stephen Walking.  Porkchop Express really surprised me, as most 8-bit tracks I've heard feel the same (with the exclusion of Adhesive Wombat), so hearing this one be so amazing was a surprise.  It's beautifully done, very melodic, and still keeps a very catchy tonality through the whole song!  Hope you enjoy it!

0622 - Chill Out

Two tracks for you today.  The first comes from Babbit and is called Painting Greys.  It is for sure a chilled out song but for sure has that classic big band feel to it mixed with strange carnival music.  It is really catchy, the vocals are done beautifully, and really got me lost in it.  Second up is April Showers from ProleteR, which has a wonderfully groovy electro swing groove to a classic melody.  It really mellowed me out and I enjoyed it thoroughly, I think you will too!

0620 - We Can Not Loose

This banger Wednesday features two songs, the first comes from Vigel and is edited by Tom Swoon called Nothing To Lose.  A pretty entertaining track that does a lot things right.  Mixing the vocals in with the build, using really catchy and memorable melodic sequences, I enjoyed this track a lot (didn't love it but enjoyed it enough to share with you all!).
Second up is a dubstep song from Au5 and Fractal called Ison.  Overall, dubstep is not my favorite genre but I did really enjoy this track.  I hope you enjoy what it has to offer!

0621 - Happy Star Wars Day!

It is what many people are referring to as Star Wars Day, so I figured what better way to celebrate then with a Darth Vader remix.  A bigroom remix of Darth Vader's theme music from Bangerific, and as much as I am usually not a fan of bigroom, I really enjoyed this one.  Maybe it is because I love the audio so much and it resonates with my childhood.  Give it a listen and happy Star Wars Day!

0619 - Lovers Stay With Lovers

First up today on this Tuesday is a song that took me a few tries to enjoy.  Lovers2Lovers by Smash is a strange and simplistic song, and I will be honest I really don't like the first minute.  Once the synth kicks in it becomes a whole new song though, and I really enjoy it.  Skip the video, it is strange and bit uncomfortable.  Enjoy the track!
The second track up today is the new one from Kygo called Stay.  It has got a great continuous flow and the very signature Kygo sound that makes me wet my pants like a child.  I love Kygo and this song only reassures my confidence in him as a musician and a producer.  Enjoy!

0618 - Let's Be Awesome Together!

I was a huge fan of Owl City growing up, and now hearing them do something a little bit more intense is always exciting.  This track called Verge featuring Aloe Black, is a really great track.  The rhythms are bumpin, the chorus is catchy as hell, and the video that features it is always legendary.  People are awesome always do a compilation video for the year, a few years ago it featured HADOUKEN.  Give it a listen, and watch these amazing people!

0617 - What the Hell Is This

First lets start off with something really different, but I really enjoyed it so I feel I have to share.  I was a big Disturbed fan, I do still enjoy their music to this day.  So when I saw a Distrubed cover of Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel I had to check it out.  It is way out of their wheelhouse, but I was very surprised how much I enjoyed it.  Give it a listen and let me know if you like more tracks like this to appear on the blog!
Also up today is a remix of a game song that has exploded, and I think you know that it fills me with DETERMINATION.  Undertale has been huge among the gaming community with just about every big youtuber doing a playthrough of it, and everyone else intrigued by what makes it so special.  I honestly think the music has a big impact on it, though the game only uses 8-bit sounds, it comes off so powerful and influential.  This remix by Chime gives it a smooth relaxed feel that I really ereally enjoyed, with some of the 8-bit combat and dialogue tones thrown in for flavor.  Enjoy!

0616 - The Volume is Never Loud Enough

Today's first track is a really groovy electro track from Synthfrax called Volume, and it is stellar.  It has such a great tonal range and sequence, not to mention the bass that powers through the entire track.  This one is catchy as all hell, and doesn't even need words to do it.  I hope it hits you like it hit me!
Second up is the Paradesi version of KSHMR's track Kashmir, this one is pretty unique but I really enjoy what is being put down here.  The track is tonal but strangely put together, it doesn't have the usual feel of track, feels more like something that was mashed together.  It all flows so well though, so I can't really figure out why I love it so much.  Give it a listen and I will let you decide for yourself!

0615 - When You Know You Want Me

I will have multiple posts coming faster than usual to make up for the missing ones over the past week.  First up is a from Gathier called If You Don't Want Me, a really solid and chill deep house track.  Driving tonal bass (which I FUCKING LOVE) with really smooth piano mixed in, this one had me from the first time I heard it.
Second up today is from Trevor Dahl called When You Come Home, a very pop based but smooth tropical house track.  It has a very top 40 feel to it as the vocals are very catchy, and the tonality of the chorus is simple and pretty contagious.  The guitar really makes it feel authentic and fabulous.  For sure a very different sounding track then I am used to but I really like the direction it goes.

0614 - Save Me Please

I've voiced my love for Drum and Bass here before, and will continue to as long as I can keep finding great music in the genre.  I found a great track from Cuebrick called Save Me and remixed my Fliwo.  It has the fast paced D&B feel along with a great tonal sequence that was stuck in my head for some time after listening to it for the first time.  It doesn't hit as hard as a lot of the mainstream drum and bass does but it is still a killer track!

0612 - Yearly Mashups Incoming

We are getting to that time of the year where the yearly mashups start to flow in and the first one is already in and delicious.  Isosine's nonstop Pop 2015 is out and it is fantastic, melding more songs than I could count into an almost 7 minute masterpiece.  One of the big focus songs is Where Are U Now, and though not a fan of the original, I like the mashup work done with it.  Overall, very well done and I can't wait to see how it stacks up against the rest of the yearly mashups coming soon!
