053 - Lets Go, Amen

Songs with samples in them are really cool, especially when its stuff that would think has no place in electronic music.  Also, drums are kinda my favorite thing, if you all don't know, I was on the drumline in high school, so they hold a special place in my heart.  The Amen break is a drum break that pops up everywhere, usually inconspicuously, but this song is grounded in that break and takes off with it to a whole new plane.  This song is beautifully done, has fantastic flow, great interjections, and is a banger in every sense of the word.  Enjoy this one with the bass turned way up (and look for a possible repeat performance because i really want to mix with this song). 
Sidenote: Its fun to listen to this, then go to other songs and see if you can recognize the Amen break in other music.
